Center
Cardinals fans, analysts and probably anyone who has paid attention to the team expected them to select a center. They have not.
Perhaps it will happen on Day 3.
Players of note:
- Luke Wypler, Ohio State
- Olu Oluwatimi, Michigan
- Jarrett Patterson, Notre Dame
Running back
With only James Conner on the roster as someone established in the NFL as a runner, it is reasonable to believe this is a position of interest, especially on Day 3.
Players of note:
- DeWayne McBride, UAB
- Roschon Johnson, Texas
- Israel Abanikanda
- Eric Gray, Oklahoma
- Zach Evans, Ole Mis
Defensive line
The Cardinals lost Zach Allen and J.J. Watt in the offseason. They added Kevin Strong and Carlos Watkins.
They could use more bodies and more youth.
Players of note:
- Moror Ojomo, Texas
- Adetomiwa Ade, Northwestern
- Jaquelin Roy, LSU
- Jalen Redmond, Oklahoma
Defensive back
The Cardinals already drafted Garrett Williams but cornerback and safety could still be a focus, especially with athletic special teams guys.
Players of note:
- CB Kelee Ringo, Georgia
- S Daniel Scott, Cal
- CB Jakorian Bennett, Maryland
- CB Darrell Luter, Southern Alabama
- CB Kei’Trel Clark, Louisville
- S Jammie Robinson, Florida State
- S Brendan Joseph, Notre Dame
