A Toronto native’s routine trip home from New Jersey reportedly turned into an expensive disaster after Porter Airlines abruptly canceled her direct route. Instead, they allegedly offered an overnight layover in another province and completely shut down her pleas for same-day assistance.
Content creator Marina Mabrey (@marinamabrey3) recounted the frustrating ordeal in a viral TikTok video recorded from inside a sauna. She reportedly did not accept the alternative itinerary offered by Porter to fly from Newark to Montreal to Toronto, which would have kept her traveling until the next morning.
