I’m sitting right seat with Porsche’s ace development driver as he romps the Panamera Turbo E-Hybrid over every single curb and rumble strip on Seville’s Circuito Monteblanco. Normally, this sort of behavior is wantonly abusive. But thanks to Porsche’s new active suspension, the car makes the harshest abuses feel like hiccups. It’s a massive engineering achievement in service of pure silliness.
