Porsche had a record year in 2025—just barely. The German automaker sold 76,219 vehicles last year, beating its previous record by a mere 52 cars. The company sold 76,167 cars in 2024. Hey, a win is a win.
Leading the charge was the Macan. Porsche sold 27,139 units of its ever-popular compact SUV in 2025. The mid-size Cayenne was a close second, with 20,314 units moved last year.
The 911 came in third with 13,574 examples making their way to new owners in 2025. This past December was the best sales month on record for the ubiquitous sports car. The outgoing 718, Taycan, and Panamera, meanwhile, brought up the rear:

Porsche CPO Sales Jump
It wasn’t only new Porsche models that set records in 2025—Porsche also saw a large jump in certified pre-owned sales last year.
The company sold 48,092 CPO vehicles last year. That number marks an 11 percent increase from the previous year and a new all-time record for the company.
That shouldn’t be all that surprising, given that used car inventory across the country—not just for Porsche—rose for its fourth consecutive year, according to Cox Automotive. In December, a whopping 2.31 million used cars were sitting on lots. That broke a record high set the previous month.
Porsche's Sales Slump Abroad
Even with a record year in the US, Porsche's sales took a tumble globally in 2025.
Porsche sold 279,449 cars globally, a 10-percent decrease compared to the previous year. The company sold 310,718 worldwide in 2024. The Macan remained its top seller globally, with Porsche selling 84,328 units—an increase of 2 percent.
