It promises to be a very interesting day at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium with the January transfer deadline edging ever closer. Clubs now have until 11pm on Tuesday evening to get any remaining deals over the line before the window slams shut until the summer.
Tottenham have already made one move this month following the addition of Arnaut Danjuma on a season-long loan from Villarreal. The Netherlands international made the perfect start to life at Spurs on Saturday evening with a debut goal in the team's 3-0 win over Preston North End in the fourth round of the FA Cup.
So as we're now in the final few hours of the transfer window, what are the best and worst case transfer deadline day scenarios for Tottenham? football.london takes a look.

Best case transfer scenario
Tottenham have often left in very late in the transfer market in previous years to get deals over the line. Following a scare on Monday in their quest to sign Sporting CP's Pedro Porro, the talented right wing-back now looks on course to finally get his move to north London.
Another transfer surprise on deadline day would go down extremely well with Tottenham fans. Linked with Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Piero Hincapie, an agreement for the Ecuador international would help take Spurs' backline to the next level.
In terms of outgoings, Bryan Gil returning to Sevilla on loan will give him the regular football he requires after only making 11 appearances in all competitions for Spurs this season. Djed Spence will join him in heading out the exit door with a move to Rennes set to go through.
So impressive in his year on loan with Nottingham Forest but just not getting a run under Antonio Conte, if he can play week in, week out, for his new club then it will give him the top-flight experience he requires and put himself in a good position to challenge for a spot in the Tottenham team next season.
Harvey White is another who would quite clearly benefit from playing time elsewhere as he is simply not going to get minutes for the Lilywhites due to the options ahead of him in the midfield pecking order.
Doing well in League One with Portsmouth two years ago, a Championship loan should be the next step for the player in terms of his development. Tottenham shouldn't be short of possible options for their man as they have a talented player on their hands.
Worst case transfer scenario
The worst case scenario is that Tottenham have another major scare in terms of any potential deals and they don't go through. It is something all at Spurs will be praying doesn't happen.
Spence will be hoping that there are no late glitches so he can seal his loan move away from Tottenham on deadline day as minutes have been extremely few and far between for him all season. The last thing the player needs right now is for a deal to Rennes to collapse at the last minute, as that would only leave him watching on from the sidelines once again at a time when he needs to be play to help aid his development.
White also remaining in N17 would also mean another season with very little football to his name. Thriving in a loan spell with Portsmouth two years ago, the player has since remained in N17 and will have enhanced his game training day in, day out under Conte, but it's the regular football he needs right now to help his career.
