His family said they grew concerned for him when he failed to show up for work on the morning of January 17 with his sister Danielle said was "very unusual".
Tracy said: “He was a lovable person, yes. A very lovable guy and he was a kind and caring man. He was very popular and well-known in the community.
“He’d been a window cleaner for many years with his dad and was always recognised in the town..”
Jonathan’s sister Danielle said: “We are absolutely heartbroken. With the honour of my brother the business will continue.
"He was adored by his aunties and cousins too as well as by us. Words cannot describe what a massive hole this has left in our family. Life will never be the same without him.”
Jonathan's brother Josh added: "We might not have always seen eye to eye but we always had each others' backs. That's just family and the power of caring for someone no matter what. In our younger days we were the all time partners of all mischief. Car badges, dust caps, hot wheels and the sweet aisles in any shop never stood a chance."
Danielle said her family had been “touched by everyone” after hundreds of tributes were paid to Jonathan on social media.
One comment read: “Absolutely gutted to hear this awful news. JT was a lovely caring young man with a massive heart. He used to tell us jokes and then laugh, sometimes leaving me a little confused. I didn’t always get them but his laugh made me laugh and smile.”
Another commenter wrote: “A real lovely guy who will be sadly missed by many. RIP Jonathan. You'll always be remembered with great fondness.”
Jonathan’s funeral will be held on Friday, February 11, at St Mary’s Church in Caldicot.
