Popular toastie truck Golden Brown opens new permanent location in south Dublin

Golden Brown toastie truck has moved into its first permanent location in Cabinteely village.

The food business, which specialises in delicious gourmet toasties, is well known for popping up at food markets around Dublin and has become a favourite in the Dublin toastie scene.

The news is welcomed by customers as it is the first indoor permanent location the business is opening.

They announced it on Instagram telling their followers: "This has been a long time coming but we are almost ready to open our doors in Cabinteely Village. Thank you to everyone who has helped put this together.

"We will be open on June 16 serving speciality coffee from @groundworkcoffeeco, delicious Açai bowls and of course our award winning gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches. Can’t wait to get going! We will still be found at our usual markets at the weekends."

Customers were clearly thrilled at the good news with one person commenting: "Yessss this is the best news!!! Congratulations, can’t wait to visit." Another said: "Unreal, huge congrats Eamo and the team. Best of luck with it all, can’t wait to visit."

The eatery will have all the usual toastie options, acai bowls, coffee and more on offer at their new location with opening times yet to be announced.
