Popular baby back ribs street food vendor, Kapow Ribs, has announced that it will open a permanent shop in Barry's independent artisan market, GoodSheds, at the end of June.
Started by husband and wife duo, John and Ceri Cook, whose initial idea to open Kapow Ribs as a street food stall, the business was delayed by the start of lockdown in March 2020. So they began as a delivery service, adding a whole new (and quite literal) meaning to the term street food: delivering food to your street, and has since grown to have a dedicated following throughout South Wales.
After two years of successful pop-ups, including stalls at Street Food Circus and Sticky Fingers, it was time for Kapow to get a home of its own.
