Popular Scottish pub and nightclub once owned by Tom Jones up for sale

A POPULAR pub and live music venue once owned by music legend Tom Jones has gone up for sale in Ayrshire.

Harleys is a well-known rock bar on Ayr’s high street, first established in the 1980s.

It features an open-plan bar and restaurant, serving comfort food, cocktails and live music.

Above Harleys – and also up for sale in the joint deal – is the Printhouse nightclub and live music venue. Originally a printing manufacturer and home to the first Ayrshire Post, Printhouse is one of Ayrshire’s most established music and events spaces.

The space is known for hosting live performances, club nights and private functions.

Initially launched as a bar named Bogarts, the business underwent significant changes in the mid-80’s when Welsh singer Jones took over and rebranded it as Jonesy’s and Powerhouse.
