Popular rat baits restricted over wildlife impacts

Wildlife conservationists have claimed a major victory with moves to restrict popular over-the-counter rat baits from sale.

The Australian Pesticides and Veterinary Medicines Authority on Wednesday said it was in the public interest for second-generation anticoagulant rodenticides to be declared restricted chemical products.
