A popular south Manchester eatery has teamed up with a bar in West Didsbury. Roti has joined forces with The Boiler Room to offer their famed Indian Scottish fusion food in a relaxed bar environment.
The Boiler Room on Burton Road recently relaunched with Roti, offering great drinks, cocktails and small plates of fusion food.
Both companies are already well established in south Manchester, with Roti having venues in Chorlton, Sale and now West Didsbury. Meanwhile, The Boiler Room offers a 'calm, casual atmosphere and great drinks' to compliment Roti’s tapas style plates.

Roti offers Scottish classics and gives them an Indian twist, taking dishes including mince and tatties and scotch eggs and reinventing them into exciting options including the famed haggis pakora. The tapas-style food means a customer can order as much, or as little as they want to accompany their cocktails or beers.
The theme of fusion isn’t just dedicated to food, although an Indian spiced batter for their take on fish and chips, deep fried Mars bar and poppadum's and dips are on the menu. The Boiler Room’s cocktails are also not to be missed, with Roti’s iconic Negroni Irn-Bru now available.
Meanwhile, the new partnership gives The Boiler Room a chance to launch an all new cocktail menu, offering both classic bar staples and some new exciting twists. To find out about their all new drinks, head down to Burton Road.
To keep the ordering of food quick and efficient, The Boiler Room uses QR code ordering. However, for drinks, traditional bar service is on hand.
Currently, The Boiler Room is only open to walk-ins, but there is hope for the upstairs space of the bar to become a restaurant for Roti.
A spokesperson for Roti said: ““We’ve been looking for a site on Burton Road for a long time now, with no avail. So when the opportunity came up to take over the kitchen in the popular Boiler Room in the heart of Burton Road, it was an opportunity we couldn’t turn down!
“For now, locals can walk in and enjoy our food with their favourite cocktails and beers, Thursday-Sunday until we open a dining space upstairs.”
Wilfred Webster, the manager of The Boiler Room, explained: “Personally I’m incredibly excited to have Roti on board, their small plate concept just makes total sense in a pub environment and it's the kind of thing that The Boiler Room has been crying out for. We at The Boiler Room want to provide a unique experience for the people of West Didsbury and hopefully they’re as excited to try it as we are to provide it.
“Hopefully, this will be the start of a very long and fruitful relationship for Roti, us and anyone visiting Burton Road in the future.”
