An italian street food vendor which has become a firm favourite in south Wales have announced that they are expanding again with a regular pop-up in a newly-opened café and restaurant. Dirty Gnocchi has been a staple on the foodie scene for a while, operating from Newport market when it re-opened following refurbishment in 2022 and opening a stand in Cardiff Market in January.
Dirty Gnocchi started off as a street food trader at Cardiff's DEPOT in 2021 and from there, the duo went on to grow a beloved following with various food takeovers at Corporation Yard, Sticky Fingers and Neighbourhood Kitchen - among others.
While they have recently announced that they are sadly closing in Newport market, fans living in Cardiff are in luck as it has been announced their food will be served at the recently-opened third branch of Gathering Ground near Victoria Park in Canton.

Dirty Gnocchi announced on social media: "CARDIFFIANS ASSEMBLE! We are SO excited to announce that we're teaming up with The Gathering Ground in their newly opened Victoria Park site to bring you our spin off venture... 'DIRTY GNOCCHI - PLATES BY THE PARK'
"A Fri-yay, Saturday evening treat of delicious new style DG dishes & our old restaurant vibe (if you know, you know...if you don't, get ready!) Plated, served with a smile & complimented with some fantastic in house drinkies!
"Opening in April... in the meantime keep a lookout for our updates & make sure to follow The Gathering Ground & join their scheme for some outrageously good rewards!"
Gathering Ground is a family-run coffee shop and restaurant, and also hosts live music and functions as a bar. Following two sites in Roath and Whitchurch, the third branch opened in summer 2022 at the former site of La Crêperie de Claudie.
