Popular Glasgow Italian La Vita opening new restaurant and bakery in east end

A popular Glasgow Italian restaurant chain is bringing a new branch to the city's east end, with an exciting new restaurant and bakery.

La Vita was founded in 1999 by the Arcari brothers and they've since gone on to open two La Vita restaurants in George Square and Bishopbriggs, two La Vita Spuntini restaurants on Gordon Street and Byres Road, and a La Vita Piccolino Vino in Newton Mearns. Following the reopening of the hospitality sector post-Covid, the business decided to embark on the next stage of its growth plans and open a new restaurant in Glasgow's east end on Baillieston Road.

Expected to launch in October, the exciting new venture will also include a baker, producing a range of Italian breads and cakes that will be available in all six restaurants. Meanwhile owners confirmed further plans are also being discussed to introduce additional restaurants to Glasgow over the coming years.
