Glasgow's legendary Panther Milk cocktail to be pitched on BBC Dragon's Den this week

A homegrown cocktail brand beloved of Glaswegians in the know will appear on this week's episode of BBC show Dragon's Den to pitch their company to the five business expert panelists.

Vegan Panther M*lk has been served up in Glasgow for years, previously at a secret bar in Mitchell Lane and more recently in venues like Bananamoon on Great Western Road.

Creator Paul Crawford will appear on the show to pitch to the Dragons in a bid to make Panther Milk one of the UK's biggest brands, as the company shared the news on social this week.

Paul, who owned Glasgow's iconic Sub Club at the time, discovered the recipe at a Barcelona music festival, and was inspired to create Glasgow's own version of Leche De Pantera - a potent cocktail with roots in 1920s Spain.

The Instagram post reads: "The cat's out the bag!

"On Thursday 24th March on BBC One catch our very own Paul Crawford pitch Panther Milk to the Dragons.

"Tune in to see whether we were shaking paws or drawing claws with the Dragons. In the mean time you can purchase Panther Milk via the link in our bio."

The episode featuring the Glasgow cult brand will air on Thursday March 24, at 8pm on BBC One.
