Popular Edinburgh restaurant to offer struggling customers 'affordable' meal deal

A popular restaurant in Leith has launched new affordable offers for their customers to help make their money stretch further.

Bundits of Leith are offering a meal deal that includes one of their iconic bao buns with fries and a drink for less than £8. A version with a beer and/or dessert will also be available, in case you are up for a well-deserved lunchtime treat.

For those who are on a tighter budget, Thursdays will be the day to go as the local eatery have slashed their prices to £2 for chicken baos for every customer who dines in. The normal price for bao buns start at £5.5 and the special £2 offer is limited to just one person.

Along with that, customers can also enjoy a £20 cocktail pitcher which pour at least four servings. Drinks include Piña Colada, Bundits’ spin on Kamikaze and their own Pink Bundit.

In their Instagram post, the team behind the bao spot are reassuring that “no skimping on alcohol or anything” is involved in creating the pitchers; they are pure bargains to be enjoyed with pals on colder evenings.

Matthew, the owner, comments: “It’s tough out there at the moment, and as a business we must adapt to anything and everything that’s thrown at us.

“The festive season is about to well and truly begin and it’s a great opportunity for people to go out and celebrate. We are not willing to pretend that it’s all peachy in people’s pockets right now, so we scratched our heads and come up with what we hope are great deals for people to enjoy without breaking the bank."
