Popular discontinued crisps make return after 14 years as people rush to 'stock up'

When it comes to discontinued and rare items, shoppers often go wild over their return.

Because of their limited availability, many people rush to the shops in a bid to stock up before they disappear again.

And these crisps are no exception, with many drooling over them and asking for other flavours of the iconic crisp to return too.

Taking to Facebook's Food Finds UK group, one shopper revealed that a certain brand of crisps were set to bring back a flavour that hasn't been the easiest to get a hold of.

The Scampi 'n' Lemon flavoured Nik Naks crisps were phased out around 14 years ago back in 2008 to make room for their other popular flavour, Pickle 'n' Onion, which has since been discontinued. Although the lime packet can be purchased in multipacks, they cannot be bought separately.

In response to the post, many took to the comments section - and people were clearly glad to see its return.

One said: "They were awesome weren't they? I want some lol."
