Earning a spot in the Good Food Guide is not easy but a Cowbridge restaurant has been awarded a place in the 2023 guide. Rocket & Rye, run by John Cook, have bagged themselves a spot in the prestigious publication.
Rocket & Rye opened in Cowbridge in 2021 and tweeted their achievement of making the Good Food Guide. They said: "Absolutely thrilled to be included in the 2023 @GoodFoodGuideUK Big love to our tiny team x".
John, who owns and runs the restaurant, also tweeted to say how proud he was. He said: "If you saw the tiny kitchen space we have it would make you laugh. To achieve this, in such a limited space, genuinely makes me prouder than I've ever been of our little restaurant. Just brilliant" followed by a red love heart emoji.
