Venice, Italy has always been a city of contrasts, blending breathtaking beauty with fragile vulnerability. Its rich history, religious significance, artistic heritage, and natural charm have converged over the centuries to create a unique and enchanting destination. The recent visit of Pope Francis to Venice has added another layer of intrigue to this captivating city.

Pope Francis made history by visiting Venice to explore the Holy See's pavilion at the Venice Biennale, marking the first time a pope has done so. The Vatican's pavilion, located inside Venice's women's prison, showcases a multimedia exhibit titled 'With My Eyes.' In a groundbreaking collaboration, inmates were invited to work alongside artists, resulting in a thought-provoking display open to the public by reservation only.
