Pop-up department store coming to East Belfast for one night only in aid of local women's charity

One of NI’s leading luxury brands is set to bring a unique charity shopping experience to East Belfast this month.

Taylor Yates is set to unveil a not-to-be-missed event, with up to 20 local brands coming together under one roof for one night only.

Taking place on Thursday, October 13, from 6pm 11pm at Belfast’s Banana Block, shoppers will be able to view their favourite brands, artists and designers, at this pop-up department store event.

The purpose of the event is to raise money for the Belfast-based charity, GLOW NI with all proceeds from the tickets going to the charity that currently operates across the city and focused on empowering women and girls.

Speaking ahead of the event, Karen Yates, Founder of Taylor Yates said: "Northern Ireland is filled with creatives and so many talented people creating and making great products.

"This event aims to shine a spotlight on many of these local companies, bringing them together for a night of celebration, and giving shoppers the unique opportunity to discover them all under the one roof.

“The event is focused on fashion, beauty, art and homeware, with an emphasis on sustainability and purpose. We have also teamed up with local charity, GLOW NI, an organisation that we have been working alongside for many years and have seen first- hand the transformational work that they do with women across the community.

"Proceeds from the night will be donated to GLOW NI."

Each brand has given a product away to be part of one of three prize giveaways sectioned into homeware, beauty and fashion giveaway bundles, each one worth at least £350 or more.

When you purchase a ticket for the collective event you will be automatically entered into the prize haul draw.

With drinks and nibbles on arrival, guests will be treated to a curated selection of some of the finest creative and local companies in Northern Ireland.

Doors open at 6pm on October 13. For more information, see here.
