Pop Idol star Michelle McManus looked completely different as she debuted a bolder hairstyle.

Scottish star Michelle found fame on Pop Idol, more than 17 years ago, when she was 23 years old.

The show was hosted by Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly and Michelle took the crown in the singing contest as she beat rival Mark Rhodes - of Sam and Mark fame - to glory.
