Pooch mauled to death by dog on Ayrshire beach after being ripped from owner's arms

A ‘sweet and incredibly loving’ Chihuahua was mauled to death by a ‘charging’ Greyhound at an Ayrshire beach after being ripped from her owner's arms.

Five-year-old Pixie died when an off-lead Greyhound lunged for her, tearing her from her harness while in her horrified owners arms.

Pixie was out walking at Croy beach - ‘her happy place’ - on Saturday, March 4 when the vicious attack happened.
