HYDERABAD: Former Congress minister Ponnala Lakshmaiah on Saturday found fault with both chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao and Prime Minister Narendra Modi in connection with the former being accused of violating the protocol by not going to receive the latter at the airport on Saturday.
“Earlier, it was Prime Minister Narendra Modi who came to Bharat Biotech on Hyderabad outskirts where K Chandrasekhar Rao was not invited. It was unfortunate that the Telangana chief minister’s office was kept away from the Prime Minister’s visit to Bharat Biotech. Chief minister K Chandrasekhar Rao could not go to receive the Prime Minister on Saturday. Both KCR and Modi should explain to the people the reasons for their actions,” Lakshmaiah demanded.
