An MP has claimed voters are being turned away from polling booths in England on Thursday, with compulsory photo identification required for the first time.

Liberal Democrat MP for Oxford West and Abingdon Layla Moran said she was worried “significant numbers” would be unable cast ballots because of the new rules.
