As Brits look to enjoy the warmer weather over the Easter bank holiday weekend, hay fever sufferers have been warned to expect a 'pollen bomb', according to Kleenex.
Data from the Kleenex Pollen Forecast shows the sunny spell is causing tree pollen levels to spike across the country this weekend as we approach the peak pollen season. The severity of pollen levels is measured by Pollen Grains Per Cubic Metre (PPM). A reading of 200-703 for tree pollen is considered high, and anything above 704 is very high.
On Good Friday in Liverpool, a pollen count of 425PMM is predicted, Saturday will see highs of 382PMM and Easter Monday 508PMM. For those planning on making the most of the weather this Easter weekend.
