The coalition holds a narrow lead over Labor ahead of a federal election that must be held by mid-May, a Roy Morgan poll suggests.
The survey puts the coalition on 52 per cent to Labor's 48 per cent on a two-party-preferred basis, unchanged from the pollster's reading of support in the previous week.
