MOHALI: In a bid to woo migrant workers from Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, actor-turned-MP Manoj Tiwari campaigned in Mohali on Monday and urged them to vote for the saffron party. The party has fielded Sanjeev Vashisht, former president, Mohali Industries Association, from Mohali assembly seat.
Tiwari, the north-east Delhi MP, used a mixed dialect of Hindi and Bhojpuri to address the crowd. To strike a chord with the public, he even sang his famous songs, especially those related to Holi and urged people to vote for the BJP candidate in the upcoming assembly elections.
