Policeman stabbed in Hebron, assailant shot dead

A Palestinian woman stabbed an Israeli border police officer and was killed Sunday in the city of Hebron in the occupied West Bank, Israeli police said.

The attacker “arrived at one of the checkpoints where the border police fighters are stationed and stabbed a fighter who was at the scene. The fighter was lightly wounded, the terrorist was neutralised,” police said in a statement.
