Police are looking to speak to a man following reports of a "serious" dog attack in a supermarket car park. The alleged incident happened outside Asda on Pontygwindy Road, Caerphilly, at around 4.30pm on Thursday, March 2.

A dog owner who was walking their pet on a lead was approached by an off-lead dog described as a Mastiff cross Great Dane, officers said. It bit the other dog causing it serious injury. The dog was taken to the vet for treatment and is now said to be recovering at home. Gwent Police has now shared a picture of a man they wish to speak to as part of its investigation.
