Police have issued images of two men they want to speak to after violence erupted at a Wetherspoon pub before a football match.
Officers were called to reports of a 'number of assaults' at the Moon Under Water pub in Wigan town centre.
Nobody suffered serious injures following the incidents before Wigan's match against Sunderland on December 29.
Detectives are continuing to investigate the violence which flared around 6pm. They are now asking for the public's help in identifying two men they want to speak to who they believe could assist with enquiries and who were heading to the game.
Greater Manchester Police went on to share pictures of two men they wish to speak to. Investigations into the assaults are continuing, and anyone with information is being urged to contact the force.
Anyone with information, or anyone who may have footage or images before attending the match, or can identify the men in the photos, is asked to contact Greater Manchester Police on 101, quoting log number 2747 of the 29/12/22.
