Queensland detectives are appealing for information from the public as they investigate the suspicious death of a woman who was found unconscious at an Ipswich home.
Police said 19-year-old Krystle Monks collapsed at a property in Bundamba, south-west of Brisbane, about 9:30pm on Saturday, February 4.
She was taken to the Princess Alexandra Hospital but died on Sunday.
Detective Acting Superintendent Larissa Miller said police are treating Ms Monks's death as suspicious.
"Detectives from Ipswich CIB and from the homicide investigation unit are closely examining the circumstances surrounding her death," Detective Acting Superintendent Miller said.
"We are treating this as suspicious; an autopsy is being completed and we are awaiting the results.
"We're still conducting an investigation into all circumstances relating to her death.
"We've been conducting an examination of the property and … that is usual in every death where we have not been given a cause of death."
Detective Acting Superintendent Miller confirmed police had been called to the Bundamba home once previously "in the last few months" in response to a domestic violence complaint.
"However, the investigation was inconclusive at the time," she said.
She said there was no existing domestic violence orders involving Ms Monks at the time of her death.
Police are appealing for family, friends and the Ipswich community to come forward with any information.
"Ms Monks's family are extremely distressed by the loss of their loved one," Detective Acting Superintendent Miller said.
"She's a much-loved daughter, granddaughter and sister."
In a statement, her family said they want Ms Monks to be remembered as "always beautiful" and "forever young".
No-one is currently in police custody in relation to Ms Monks's death.
