Police trace 13-year-old missing boy in Nashik

NASHIK: The Ahmednagar police recently traced a 13-year-old boy who had gone missing after he had scored less marks in his exams.

The concerned boy had gone missing from his school after which his parents had rushed to the Kotwali police station and had registered a missing complaint.

PI Chandrashekhar Yadav of the Kotwali Police Station had immediately informed senior officers of his police station after which the search was undertaken, and the boy was traced within six hours.

The child was handed over to his parents.

PI Yadav had taken serious cognizance of the missing complaint and had circulated the missing child's photos on social media. A teacher of the boy's school told the police that the boy had come to the school with other clothes as well and had heard him telling one of the students that he was not going home again.

Yadav formed different teams of policemen and took up the search operation. The boy was eventually traced and when they questioned him, he told them that he was leaving because of low marks in the exam. He was safely handed over to his parents. The boy was successfully traced under the guidance of Superintendent of Police Rakesh Ola.
