Police surround easyJet plane after emergency landing

A plane which was due to land in Turkey was met by police after it was forced to make an emergency landing instead. The easyJet plane set off from Liverpool John Lennon Airport at 1.06pm on Wednesday, April 19.

The Airbus was bound for Dalaman in Turkey. But just over two hours into the journey the flight began circling over Munich before making an emergency landing at 4.19pm Central European Summer Time (CEST), reports Liverpool Echo.

The plane was met by police on the tarmac after two passengers started behaving "disruptively" onboard. Eyewitnesses claimed the two passengers left the plane with German police.
