Police stop lorry driver moving huge 50m-long load hanging metres off rear end

Police officers were left shocked after they stopped a lorry carrying over a dangerous 50 metre load on the M4.

The vehicle was pulled over by Gwent Police and the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency on October 14 near Monmouthshire as it transported a gigantic lengthy load which hung a substantially long distance off the end of the truck.

The force had been performing an inappropriate load operation at the Pilning Interchange off Junction 22 when they came across the 'flat bed' lorry and pulled over the driver to inspect the vehicle, Wales Online reports.

Outrageous pictures of the shared to social media by officers, show the excessive amount of load being transported by the vehicle which was pictured hanging several metres off the back of it.

Police discovered that the ill equipped lorry was moving a humongous 94 tonnes which was significantly over the vehicle's recommended design weight.

They also learned that there was false details on the movement order and on the special order, the vehicle lacked the correct amount of axles on the ground and that the driver amongst all of these issues had also deviated from the route on the movement order.
