A pedestrian has been left injured after they were hit by a car on a busy road in Sherwood. The collision in Hucknall Road was reported to Nottinghamshire Police at 11.30am on Thursday (December 15).
The road was closed in both directions at the junction with Haydn Road. The pedestrian suffered injuries which are not thought to be life-altering or life-threatening.
Anyone with information, CCTV or dash-cam footage is asked to contact Nottinghamshire Police. Inspector Gina Boothby said: “Emergency services were called to Hucknall Road, Sherwood, Nottingham, at around 11.30am today (15 December 2022) following reports of a road crash.

“A pedestrian was in collision with a car close to the junction with Haydn Road and has suffered injuries which are not currently believed to be life-altering or life-threatening." For a period, Nottingham City Transport's 15, 16 and 17 services were diverting while the road was closed.
Buses are now back to a normal route. Anyone with information, CCTV or dash-cam footage is asked to contact the force on 101, quoting incident 242 of December 15, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
