Police statement as Leeds office block evacuated after 'suspicious' package delivered

Workers were told to leave an office block in Leeds on Monday after a "suspicious package" was delivered to the building in Wellington Place.

West Yorkshire Police (WYP) has confirmed officers were called to the scene at 4.05pm on March 7 "to reports of a suspicious package which had been delivered to a building."

The building was evacuated and a cordon was put in place.
