Police were called out to The Meadows after a man was attacked in a house. Officers were called to the incident at a property in Phoenix Close at 4.50am on Sunday (January 22).
It was reported the victim was attacked by another man who had gained access to the address. Police said the victim suffered minor injuries.
Eyewitnesses had reported a police presence in the area. Detective Inspector Jon Kerry, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Our lines of inquiry are ongoing, which include checking CCTV footage, and we are working hard to establish the full circumstances surrounding this incident.

“We’re urging anyone who recalls seeing suspicious activity in the area around this time to contact us immediately as they may have valuable information which could help us with our investigation.”
