Police statement after fight in Nottingham city centre

Police were called to a street in Nottingham city centre after reports of a fight between two groups of people. A number of police officers were called Angel Row, near Old Market Square at 4.20pm on Tuesday, April 26.

Members of the public spotted police cars and officers in the city centre street at around 4.30pm. Nottinghamshire Police said that there were no injuries reported following the incident, and that investigations were continuing.

A spokesperson for Nottinghamshire Police said: "We received reports at 4.20pm of two groups of people coming together in an altercation in the Angel Row area. There are no reports of any injuries. Investigations are continuing."
