Police have seized a number of off-road bikes that were being driven dangerously and allegedly used for a number of crimes in Salford. Working with housing provider Salix Homes, Salford South East Neighbourhood Police Team have recovered four stolen motorbikes found in an alleyway at the back of Chambersfield Court in Ordsall.
The bikes have been forensically recovered and enquires are ongoing. The bikes are believed to have been used in a number of crimes across Salford including motor bike thefts, personal robberies, phone thefts and drug dealing.
The operation was set up due to reports of antisocial behaviour in Ordsall. Police say for the last month there has been an increase of issues involving off-road bikes with masked up riders seen driving dangerously, causing damage to the park and involved in drug dealing.
