Police say they seized a canister of nitrous oxide from two teenagers during a patrol in West Belfast at the weekend.
The West Belfast Neighbourhood Team were conducting patrols of the Divis area when officers "stopped and spoke with a 16-year-old male and female".
Posting a photo of the items seized, a PSNI spokesperson said: "Subsequently seizing this canister of nitrous oxide from them.

"Commonly known as "laughing gas" or "balloons", nitrous oxide consumption can cause heart problems, suffocation and nerve damage. It is illegal to supply nitrous oxide under the Psychoactive Substances Act 2016.
"Anyone using nitrous oxide please stop immediately! Do not inhale! It is extremely dangerous and can kill.
"If you seen nitrous oxide canisters in your local area please contact your local Neighbourhood Policing Team through 101."
