Police seize large quantity of cash in search of car in Co Fermanagh

Police in Co Fermanagh have seized £1700 from a vehicle in Lisnaskea after they were 'not satisfied' with how a driver and passenger obtained the cash.

The vehicle was stopped on Friday March 11 on Main Street in the Co Fermanagh town, with officers suspecting controlled drugs were in the vehicle.

While no drugs were found, the officers located the cash and later seized it and brought it to a judge where it will be retained until further enquiries are made.
