Police are appealing to witnesses after a number of hand tools were reported stolen from the Easton area of Bristol. Avon and Somerset Police are searching for two men as part of the ongoing investigation.
A number of work tools were reported stolen from a vehicle in Stapleton Road in Easton between 10am and 10.45am on Friday, September 29. The missing tools were Makita-branded, and were engraved with the letters ‘NS’ or ‘J’.
The reportedly stolen tools included a plainer, a torch, saws, and drills, and were allegedly taken from a van in the central Bristol area. Avon and Somerset Police have released CCTV images of two men wanted for questioning in relation to the theft.

Police are appealing to the public for help in searching for the two men to aid in their ongoing investigation. Both were riding e-scooters in CCTV footage.
One man is described as black, with short dreadlocks. He is seen wearing a white t-shirt, black shorts, white trainers, and carrying a yellow drawstring sports bag.
Police are also searching for a second man, white, with short hair. He is pictured wearing a blue hooded jacket, black baseball cap, black trousers, and trainers. Witnesses or anyone who can help us identify these two men are asked to call 101 and quote reference number 5222182116 .
