Police searching for a woman from Gateshead have confirmed she has been found safe and well.
Officers were concerned for Quara-tul-ain Tariq who had last spotted at a store on Overhill Terrace in Bensham, Gateshead, at around 9.30pm on Wednesday night. The 26-year-old, who is known as Annie, had not been seen or heard from since.
Annie, who lives in Gateshead, was reported missing late last night and searches were ongoing to locate her.

Annie had last seen wearing a red and blue Christmas jumper, a dark coloured skirt and white shoes. She could be wearing glasses, however she was not wearing them when she was last seen.
Northumbria Police has now confirmed (Saturday) that Annie has been found safe and well.
