Police investigating the murder of Dylan Keelan have been searching an area of woodland in Tameside.
A cordon was in place off Polperro Walk, in Hattersley, this morning (Tuesday, February 8) as police dogs were seen assisting officers.
GMP has confirmed the search is linked to the investigation into the murder of Dylan, 20, who was stabbed to death in Cheetham Hill Road, Dukinfield, on Friday evening (February 4).

A 17-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of murder yesterday.
He remains in custody for questioning.
Police have confirmed the search in Hattersley is connected to the investigation into Dylan's death, but have not revealed what it is they are looking for.
The scene in Polperro Walk is just over two miles away from where Dylan was killed, opposite the site of the St James Catholic Primary School.
One woman, whose garden backed on to the area of woodland being searched told the MEN that the police presence was 'quite unnerving' and had been in place since yesterday.
"The police were at the end of the road yesterday," Christine Wrigley said. "There was a police woman in her car.
"I took the dog for a walk this morning, at 8:20am.
"Then the police cars pulled up.
"It's quite unnerving. It's taped off at the back of my garden.
"We don't normally see this."
Images show an area of woodland and a nearby patch of grass taped off.
Forensic officers could also be seen combing through the undergrowth.
Four teenage boys who were arrested on suspicion of Dylan's murder over the weekend have since been released - two under investigation and two on conditional bail.
In a moving statement on Sunday, Dylan's mum Nicole described him as a "lovely, hardworking, kind and respectful boy" and said his shock death had left her "broken and distraught."
