Police Save More Than 40 Dogs and Cats From Unsafe Living Conditions During Rescue Operation in Kansas

Police in Kansas have arrested two people after rescuing 41 dogs and cats from a residence where the animals were reportedly living in unsanitary and unhealthy conditions.

The Emporia Police Department (EPD) said animal control officers and patrol officers executed a search warrant on 2 September at 621 Lakeview Street, Lot 14, in Emporia, as part of an investigation into suspected animal abuse and neglect.
