Police Scotland have released CCTV images of a man they are hunting in connection with an attack in Airdrie. A 41-year-old man was set upon at a taxi rank on Stirling Street in the Lanarkshire town at around 1.05am on Saturday, May 21.
He suffered a facial injury in the attack and was rushed to hospital for treatment. Cops are now looking for a man in connection with the incident.
The force released two CCTV pictures of the man, who is described as between 20-30 years of age, around 5ft 10in tall and of a medium build. They have asked anyone who recognises him to get in touch with them.
Detective Constable Katy Goldie of CID said : “I would urge anyone with information relating to the man in the CCTV image to contact police as soon as possible.”
