Police release CCTV image of man after 'incident' at south side shop

Police are looking to speak with a man caught on CCTV as part of their investigation into an incident at a shop on Clarkston Road.

Officers have released images of the man following the incident on April 28 at around 12.15pm.

The man is described as being white, 6ft tall, of slim build, and wearing glasses, a grey tammy, a blue denim jacket with a light hooded top underneath, blue denim jeans, and white trainers.

Detective Constable Declan Quinn-Thomas at Greater Glasgow CID said: “I would urge the man depicted in the images, or anyone who recognises him, to get in touch.

“As part of our investigation we are keen to identify the man in the CCTV images and would urge him, or anyone who recognises him, to get in touch with police immediately.

"Anyone with information is asked to contact Greater Glasgow CID via 101, quoting incident number 1352 of 28 April 2022. Alternatively, calls can be made to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where anonymity can be maintained."
