Police release CCTV image of four men following serious assault at Glasgow bus stop

Police have released CCTV images of four men they want to speak to in relation to an assault which took place opposite a subway station.

Officers believe the men may hold information on the incident that unfolded on Garscube Road, around 8.20pm on Sunday, April 2022. A 35-year-old man was standing at a nearby bus stop when he was seriously assaulted, leaving him requiring medical treatment.

The first man is described as white, aged between 40 and 60-years-old, with grey hair. He was wearing a grey hooded jumper and dark jogging trousers.

The second man is described as white, with a tanned complexion and dark-shaven hair. He was wearing a dark-coloured jacket and shorts.

The third man is described as white, with short, light brown hair. He was wearing a white tracksuit top with dark sleeves and dark-coloured trousers.

The fourth man is described as white, with dark brown hair. He was wearing a dark green coloured jumper with white panelling on the shoulder and light-coloured trousers.

Detective Constable Jenna Baillie, of Greater Glasgow CID, said: “I would urge the men, or anyone who has information relating to any of them depicted in these images, to make contact with the police.

“Anyone with any information is asked to contact Greater Glasgow CID via 101, quoting incident number 3295 of 17 April 2022. Alternatively, call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111 where information can be passed on anonymously.”
