Eleven Myanmar nationals, one a young teenager, were caught with ketamine at an illegal pub in Wang Thonglang district, Bangkok, raided by police early Sunday morning. The Thai proprietor was also arrested.

Police searched the unregistered building on Pradit Manutham 2 Road about 1.30am on Sunday and reported finding revellers using drugs and dancing to loud music.

Police found half a gramme of ketamine and drug paraphenalia during the search. Beer was also being served on the unlicensed premises.

There were 11 Myanmar customers, one aged under 18 years. They were charged with drug abuse. Some had no passport with them, as required by law.

The pub operator, a Thai, was arrested and charged with allowing drug abuse, allowing a minor into an illegal entertainment venue, selling alcohol without a licence, illegally operating a place of entertainment and opening it and selling alcohol outside legal hours, police said.
