Police probe launched after vandals smash window of moving bus in attack in Washington

An investigation has been launched by Northumbria Police after the window of a moving bus was smashed in an act of vandalism in Washington.

READ MORE: Police probe launched after man and woman found dead in house in North Shields

The 'incredibly dangerous' incident happened on Tuesday night just after 10.30pm at the Galleries Retail Park. Go North East made the decision to divert bus services away from the stop for the rest of the night 'for the safety of our colleagues and customers'.
