Police investigating the disappearance of an Ayrshire schoolgirl believe she may still be somewhere in the region.
Jamie-Lee Harvey vanished from her home in Ayr on Tuesday afternoon.
The 12-year-old was last seen boarding a train to Irvine at around 3.30pm.
Police believe that she is somewhere in the Irvine area.
Jamie-Lee is described as being 5ft tall, of medium build, with long light brown-coloured hair.
She was last seen wearing a black puffer jacket, black jumper, black leggings and black trainers.
Sergeant Fraser Chisholm of Ayr Police Office said: “Our enquiries are ongoing and we are appealing to anyone who may have seen Jamie-Lee or has any information on her whereabouts to contact us.
“We understand that Jamie-Lee may have frequented the Irvine area and was last seen boarding a train from Ayr.
“We urge anyone who may have had a sighting of her to come forward.”
